Vacationhouse in Hjältevad

In the small village of Hjältevad in Småland along the 40 road between the picturesque town of Eksjö and Vimmerby, the place where the Pippi Longstocking park is located, we rent out this beautiful family home for 6 people. The house is located on the edge of the village, right on the edge of the forest. There is a small supermarket in Hjältevad and a beautiful lake with the possibility to swim, the lake also has a nice beach. It’s around  900 m. away from the house. In the winter there is a small ski center in Ingatorp (circa 5 km. away from the house) for a fun day skiing or snowboarding. The house is therfor the ideal place to to start yours trips or holiday plans in the region. (see on this website under surrounding)

There is a large sunny garden around the house, which also has a small cottage with build-in a sauna. The home is child-friendly and there is even a playground nearby. During the July, August and September you will have the possibility to find plenty and mushrooms in the surrounding woods. At the Mycklaflons camping, located about 12 km. further there is an excellent fishing lake and the camping has also a fishing guide(more information on the website under news). Futhermore, the campsite also provides services for the rental of motor boats, rowing boats, canoes and supboards.  

Surroundings

The pleasant town of Eksjö is 25 km. away, many tourists visit the town because of the beautiful old wooden town. The coastal town Västervik is 100 km. away and is a pleasant tourist coastal town with a beautiful archipelago. The Astrid Lindgren Park in Vimmerby is 40 km. away and you’ll be able to see the tales of Emil, Ronja and Pippi Longstocking come to life.
